The Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art venue for plays, musicals, concerts, recitals, comedians, dancers, speakers, business meetings, and other events in an auditorium-type setting.

It opened to the public July 31, 2011, and offers comfortable seating for 799 patrons plus technically advanced lighting and sound systems, including a concert grand piano that has the capability to record and play even the most difficult musical scores.

The center is available for events in addition to school performances. This includes:

• Full scale performances of musicals and plays

• Lectures, presentations and panel discussions

• Meetings

• Chamber ensembles and solo recitals

• Productions by professional dancers and local dance academies

• Public and private events
