It was a great weekend for our Sabers at the 2023 Iowa State National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) Tournament! Congratulations to our Central DeWitt Saber Archery Club Head Coach Ed Vance who received the Iowa NASP Coach of the Year award! This award is a voted award and given to the coach with the best Tell us why this coach deserves coach of the year answer. Head Coach Vance received approximately 60 votes! Well deserved! Also, congratulations to senior Samantha Hledik who received a $1,000 Chuck Coach Hallier Memorial Scholarship. Junior Lucas Hledik made the All-State team! The team is made up of the top 6 boys in the state from the elementary, middle, and high school divisions combined who have the highest two regular season tournament scores plus their state tournament score. Eighth grader Jacob Meier placed 4th in the middle school boys division out of 455 archers! Great job to all!'
