Guests enjoying WBL Appreciation Night

On Tuesday, Work-Based Learning Appreciation Night was held to thank local businesses and individuals who supported the program this year. It was also a great learning experience for students in the program as they practiced greeting guests, shaking hands and introducing themselves. The event was catered by Ms. Sage’s Meal Management students.

Work-based learning is a supervised program that links knowledge gained at the work site with a planned program of study. Not only do students gain experience in various careers, but they learn valuable employability skills.
