On Friday, Feb. 10th, the Swingin' Sabers Jazz One performed at the University of Dubuque Jazz Festival. They started the day off by performing three of their four contest selections and then received a clinic from the University of Iowa Professor Emeritus Jim Dreier. They listened to two other groups in the morning, participated in a masterclass with members of the Count Basie Orchestra, and then that evening got to hear the Count Basie Orchestra in concert!
