Inspired by the book, The Monument by Gary Paulsen, Mrs. Hahn's WIN students created their own monuments to honor someone that has influenced them. On Tuesday, students held a monument dedication ceremony where they shared their creations and gave a speech about their honoree. The students had inspiring stories from grandparents who fought in different wars to professional athletes to Jake, a rescue dog known for his work after the September 11 attacks. The students worked hard on this project and it definitely showed! Great job, Sabers!
