Mornings have gotten even brighter at CDIS and CDMS thanks to the staff of The Purple Bean! Operated by Mrs. Jackson and her students, The Purple Bean is a coffee and more store that delivers snacks and drinks ordered by employees throughout the school week. This year the store offers regular and flavored coffee, hot cocoa, hot apple cider and a variety of delicious snacks. Complete with uniforms, loyalty punch cards and their own branding materials, the store is teaching students customer service and communication skills, as well as how to handle money. Students are also involved in creating marketing materials to promote sales. Not only is The Purple Bean teaching our students valuable skills, it's also greatly appreciated by our employees!
