Congratulations to our 11 instrumentalists and our 11 vocalists that auditioned for the 2022 Iowa All-State Band and Chorus this past Saturday! An extra Saber shout of pride to senior Anissa Sailer who was ACCEPTED into the 2022 Iowa All-State Band on french horn! Austin Senske, senior, earned 1st Alternate status on tuba. This means his audition was at the All-State level but our region did not have any more folders allotted to us for him to move forward. Depending upon the other five sites, he still has a chance to be accepted so fingers crossed for him! Two of our vocalists, Regina Klostermann and Alexsis Van Zee, also received a recall which gave them extra consideration for a second round of auditions later that day. These students have been working since August on this and should be proud of their work as we are proud of them!
