Thanks to Ekstrand Elementary staff and their family members the front of Ekstrand is looking better than ever! Over the summer, volunteers pulled out troublesome trees, picked up A LOT of apples, transplanted boulders, and added lots of sedum, lilies and irises that will provide purple and gold blooms all year long!
A HUGE thank you to Arndt Custom Curbing for donating the cement curbing around the school sign and to King’s Materials in Eldridge for donating the matting and river rock. Plants were donated by Vicki Brainerd, Sue Bormann and Tammy Cousins. We appreciate everyone’s hard work to keep us looking our best!
