We're thrilled to kick off our first home football game of the season! To make sure everyone has a fantastic and safe experience at Birney Field, let's go over a few key expectations.
• Family Areas: The grassy areas on the home side are perfect for families with young children. We encourage parents to keep their little ones close and enjoy the game together—cheering on our Sabers is more fun as a family!
• Designated Seating Areas: To ensure everyone has the best view and experience, we have designated seating for different groups. Intermediate School students will be in the bleachers on the north side, Middle School students will be near the scoreboard, and High School students in the main bleachers’ student section. Our amazing CDHS Marching Band will have their own section in the main bleachers, furthest to the north. Students are asked to stay in their assigned areas and soak in all the excitement of the game. Of course, students can also sit with an adult in other areas if they prefer.
• Supervision: All students in 6th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult. This ensures our younger students are safe and well-supervised, allowing everyone to focus on enjoying the game.
• No Extra Equipment: To keep the atmosphere focused on the game, please leave any equipment like footballs, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblades at home.

🎭 CDHS Saber Drama is excited to announce this year’s musical...THE ADDAMS FAMILY! For CDHS students interested in being a part of this year's musical there are several ways you can get involved by joining the cast or crew! The musical will be directed by the team of Allison Swanson, Ryan Uttech, and Shannon Edwards.

Congratulations to our FFA livestock judging team for placing 4th overall out of 49 teams this past Saturday in Ames at the state competition! Team members included: Caden Bernauer, Ty Henningsen, Audrina Gordon and Kyle Deppe. Special congratulations to Kyle Deppe who was not only 1st individual in swine and goats but was the 1st individual overall at the state competition! Way to go, Sabers!

Under settings you can choose to receive emails, voice and text alerts. It is that time of year again! We wanted to send out a quick reminder to touch base on transportation needs for students attending Central Dewitt this coming school year.
If you need to change your family’s transportation needs for the upcoming school year, please give the bus barn a call at (563) 659-0706 as soon as possible. Without your updates we can't accurately gauge how many students will be riding each bus which could impact times and routes.
As of this moment there haven’t been any significant changes to the routes, but some times or routes could still change. If that happens, that information will be shared with families before school starts on Aug. 23rd.
