As part of their living systems unit, CDIS 5th graders visited the high school greenhouse to learn more about what plants need to grow and opportunities they will have to work with plants in middle and high school. CDHS Agricultural Science Teacher Amy Grantz did a fabulous job teaching students about the purpose of the greenhouse and what variables can be controlled when growing plants.
Students were highly engaged and excited to have this opportunity. We are lucky to have teachers across grade levels and buildings work together to provide interesting and unique learning experiences for our students.

How many high school students can say they played with The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra?! On Saturday, April 15th our CDHS Jazz One students, directed by Mr. Josh Greubel, had the opportunity to open for The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra prior to their performance at the CDPAC.

‼️ On Wednesdays May 17th and May 24th, we will NOT be dismissing early and will instead have full days of school. This is due to school days recently being affected by weather and us needing to meet the required 1,080 instructional hours for the school year. Changing those two Wednesdays to full days will allow us to achieve the hour requirement without extending the school year.
